Rachel brings a wealth of experience and a passion for providing compassionate care to patients in need. 

From Apison, Tennessee, Rachel grew up on a dairy farm that her grandparents owned.

Rachel earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in 2011. She was a dedicated student-athlete, focusing her efforts on the pentathlon and heptathlon events. After graduation, she worked in CVICU, CV OR, ER, and briefly in insurance. She completed her Masters in Nursing in 2019 and has primarily worked as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner since. For most of the last year, she has been working with the aging population within their private homes or Assisted Living Communities.

Rachel provides in-home primary care for individuals who find it difficult to leave their homes. Now with Healing Hands Mobile Physician Group, she strives to foster a culture of empathy and dignity, ensuring that patients and their families receive the highest quality of care. With her extensive medical background and dedication to compassionate care, Rachel is exceptionally qualified to provide comfort and support to patients and their families.

Rachel enjoys spending time with older adults, connecting with them, and hearing their stories. She excels at meeting people, finding out what is important or really matters to them, and then helping them achieve their goals through their healthcare. Advocating for her patients and empowering them to want the best quality of life is her goal.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Rachel is married to the love of her life, and together they have a 10-year-old daughter. Quality time is everything to her. During the spring, she serves as an assistant coach at a local high school for both the boys' and girls' teams specializing in hurdles and jumps. When not spending time with family, her personal hobbies include woodworking, wood burning, and making unique pieces of kitchenware to sell within her community or on her Etsy shop.
